I love this cabinet and I get a lot of compliments from guest when they visit my home. I just wish it was larger. I would highly recommend this product.First off, the box is very heavy. I can see why many have complained about damage. Due to the weight, it should be packaged a bit better by the manufacturer.I saw a couple of pieces damaged when I opened the box but figured either it wouldn't be noticeable or hidden. Got down to the last piece, the door, and noticed the damage I missed right on the front. Thank goodness for Amazon! I got it picked up by UPS and here I am 1 week later and ready to put the replacement together.About the nondamaged pieces. Putting it together was not easy. The round screw lock pieces broke too easily. Getting things properly lined up and tightened was a hard chore. Some of the holes weren't drilled properly and were too deep or not deep enough - both of which brought on some finagling and manipulation. But once we got it to work, it was solid......which is why I was so upset that I had to take the whole thing apart, box it up and wait to have it replaced.This is s nice cabinet for a decent price. But as others have stated as well, beware of possible damage.Ohhhh....the amount of STYROFOAM that was broken into teeeeeny weeny little tiny pieces all over EVERYTHING (I mean evvverything) was unreal.UPDATE 1/8/16Well Amazon quickly shipped the replacement. It came in a somewhat different box with no damage. (And minimum Styrofoam snow with this box - completely different from the first box) Since I had put the other one together and took it apart, putting this one together went much smoother. All pieces fit ok (not completely 100% but ok), I was pleased. It looks nice but I don't think it'll take a lot of moving from one spot to another. There were 2 parts that had a little less than a 1/8" gap. Also with the front door, the top shuts flush whereas the button has approx a 1/8" gap. Youcan't see it unless you really look hard. I'm not too wild about the knob on the door but it can easily be replaced with a trip to The Depot. All in all, I'm satisfied and love the look.This for me was a little hard to assemble, but want to put together with some help it looks terrific. This has a very good weight and is sturdy. I now need to go wine shopping! This was a very good buy for meNot to easy to assembleIt was difficult to assemble but that might be a “me” problem. It was packed well and all parts were there. For the price I like this wine cabinet; it fits into a small space and holds a lot of wine. I like the look as well. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.I am experienced at putting furniture together. This is one of the worst built, poorest directions and cheapest hardware I have seen. I had two people help try to hold it together while building--still could not get the joints to hold because the cams are worthless. Three of the cams broke, one literally disintegrated while barely turning it. If you try to return it, you have to pay shipping and it is heavy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.The cabinet looks nice, but I took away one star because it scratches ridiculously easy, and another star because 2 of the 3 metal wine bottle holders didn't even line up with the holes in the wood. Luckily I am a smith, and took them to my shop to break and rebuild them. I shouldn't have to do crap like that for $100+ cabinet. I also wasn't expecting chinesium at this price either.I like this cabinet. It's very attractive and almost as I imagined it from the pictures. The wood is darker than pictured. Espresso is near black, which was good for me; it may not be good for you. The top shelf only has enough space to hang your glasses OR store short bottles. Not both. Pain to put together like all furniture is, but all of the hardware was fairly good quality for the price. The wood does scratch easily, and I put a small scratch or two in it just building the thing. I admit to being a little careless when it comes to these things though, so take that for what it is. If you're a careless builder, you might want to buy something more expensive and avoid laminated wood altogether.Très beau, mais l'assemblage demande du temps.Qualité-prix acceptableperfect for what i was looking for....love it!Poor design and workmanship. This is a mass produced factory made furniture from China that is very flimsy and not worth $200+. Do not buy unless you plan to through it out in a year.
