I always admired those fancy teak benches at spas. So when my new master bath design included an empty corner, I knew exactly what to put there. This bench is sturdy, well made, durable, comfortable, and really beautiful. It’s absolutely smooth so you don’t have to worry about splinters. We have only oiled it once in the six months we have owned it, but it shows no signs yet of needing more. The little shelf underneath is the perfect place to store folded hand towels and washcloths. I sit here every day to put on my shoes and socks in the morning. I’m not a small person - the bench is durable. And it’s a lovely addition to the room. Good product, recommended.
