This is a nice solid reception/point of sale desk for my salon. It met all my expectations for IKEA type furniture you put together yourself. I had no problems, but I also have some experience with this kind of construction. All the potential pitfalls are still there and you may damage something by over tightening or misalignment, so be patient and careful. The instructions are just a diagram. It is best to lay all the peices out to help understand how it goes together. These pieces won't handle a lot of trial and error before they become unusable. It seems a bit flimsy and awkward going together, but magically, when the last piece is secured together, it becomes just as solid as any factory made desk.
