I was surprised how easy this was to assemble. Took about 10 min and included the Allen wrench needed to secure the 14 bolts. The teak oil made the bench somewhat waterproof but I think I will add a coat of poly when I bring this outside in the Spring. It looks great in the kitchen matching the wood tones of the room and will be great for growing herbs. The quality of this bench is worth the cost.
