I just assembled it so have not had long-term experience. However, so far it seems quite sturdy. It has floor protectors. It came with work gloves and a little wooden mallet for assembly, the only tools needed - very thoughtful. The box was very heavy and quite damaged but everything inside was fine. The video instructions helped a lot. At first the vertical supports (2 pieces with a plastic connector) seemed very unstable, came apart easily and had me worried. However, once fully assembled it was stable. The metal is a reasonably good gauge. They even had a few extra connectors (error or just in case?). I did have a second person for assembly after I got the end supports assembled. That was helpful to get the two sides connected with the long cross beams. Think about what you are going to put on the shelves to decide about shelf spacing. They are completely adjustable but not once assembled. Don't forget that the shelf support takes up some of the space. I made it a little tight to stack my two containers and may have to redo the shelf heights, which requires disassembly. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase so far. So many other racks get so-so or bad reviews for strength and sturdiness. This one seems like a winner.
