I bought 3 sets to create a bookcase I saw on Etsy, but for a fraction of the cost. The sets came in perfect condition, and assembly was fairly straightforward. Just make sure to follow the instructions because you cannot take the cubes apart once you put them together, especially if you also use wood glue to strengthen them like did.Installation was not easy, but a big part of that was because I wanted to create a complex design. If you want to go with a single set and a more free-form design, things will be considerably easier. However, part of the installation difficulty is that the included hardware are useless. They certainly wouldn't work on my plaster walls, and they are insufficient to carry any kind of actual weight. If at ll possible, do yourselves a favor and screw to the studs. But again don't use the included tiny screws. Instead, I used #7 2inch wood screws (that's the largest/longest screw whose head diameter will fit in the keyhole hangers in the back of each cube. For the screws that couldn't secure in studs, I used 3/16inch heavy duty snaptoggles.Overall, I'm very happy with the result for the price point and look forward to enjoy it in our guest room for many years to come.4 stars for the set because the hardware is useless. 1 extra star for customer service who were extremely responsive when FedEx lost one shipment and they replaced it for free immediately.
