I found the perfect bookcase that my cats can climb and sleep on! So very happy with how it turned out.The lowest 2 shelves & top shelf are straight, I put the smaller angled shelves on 3rd & 4th tier up with the "legs" down to the tier below. The cats can climb onto the 2nd level and make their way up to the 4th. I put some heavy books on the lowest shelf, but it wasn't really needed, the unit is much more sturdy than I hoped. All shelves are snug and don't move when you tighten the screws on the outside, it holds them nicely.I put beds on both half shelves and some scratch pads, they love it!The color is a dark brass, it is nice.My one and only complaint is the holes on the bottom of the shelves, the plugs don't stay in them, they are sitting loose.The rest is fantastic! Love how it turned out!
